Absolutely agree about the trading range. Problem is, we are still closer to the top of the range than the bottom. I think the bottom of the range will hold, but it's going to be difficult to trade. A few days ago I thought the stocks would hold up while the metal consolidated, but Mr. Market decided otherwise. We should get a bounce soon (PMs & the overall market), but then probably another leg lower - down to the bottom of the range. I want to be out on the bounce.
The Venture exchange has clearly broken its 16-month uptrend - a major event in my book. I believe speculative stocks are probably going to have a rough summer. My basic plan for the summer is to hold a lot of cash. Late summer, I'm going to buy the juniors that are able to hold up through the doldrums. (the ones that crack may eventually become victims of tax loss selling - the opportunity to buy them will come in December).
