Silver Quest (SQI-V; $0.41) has seen
the least lift from the White Gold play, partially
because its involved in several different
areas and many shareholders are following it
for its BC assets, not its Yukon holdings.
Drilling by JV partner Richfield Ventures has
been occupying traders and the lack of an
update on the Backwater project has been
hurting both stocks. How that project fares
remains to be seen but the announcement of
a work start in the Yukon should help SQI
get some traction in the market.
The company has substantial holdings in
White gold camp and its Prospector Mountain
project has reported strong high grade numbers.
It seems increasingly clear that the
discoveries made in the Yukon will lead to a
reassessment of large swaths of geology.
Having large property holdings there places
SQI squarely in the path of potential discovery
