Craig Wireless issues special dividend of 40 cents per share after spectrum sale

"The company is very pleased to declare this special dividend," said Boyd Craig, founder and co-CEO of Craig Wireless. "The dividend rewards the patience of our shareholders and enables them to share in the company's successful transaction with Inukshuk."
Craig Wireless said the sale has also allowed it to repay all its long-term debt. The special dividend will be paid July 6 to shareholders of record on June 22.
Following completion of the sale, Craig Wireless will continue to own spectrum or operate on leased spectrum in the United States, Norway and New Zealand.
Shares in the company were halted pending the news. They last traded at 79 cents on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
