I have the opposite problem - I overtrade. I hate seeing profits disappear, so I tend to take profits too early. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but I think overall it's better than staying on the roller-coaster.

Investors sometimes forget that they don't have to make all-or-none decisions. It's often a good idea to buy and sell in tranches. I do that whenever I'm not really sure what to do - which happens quite often.
