you didn't hear me crying about being demoted to Vice President a few days ago, apparently for posting the following message:
It cost me dearly to learn that when a business is not supported by all the stakeholders in a community, sooner or later there will be serious consequences.
As George Patton said, "If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking." In the real world, unanimity of stakeholders is rare, and, more often than not, it seems, those "serious consequences" are visited on the rogue dissenting stakeholder who lacks political clout, not the well-connected consensus funded by shareholders strong-arming a project forward, i.e. TGB v. First Nations, Continental Minerals v. Tibetans, etc.
