I don't know about "omens". I lightened-up considerably today anyway. Maybe wholesale printing, monetizing the debt and escalating a currency crisis will serve to buoy equities and drive the market higher, but at some point reality will bite and things will begin to break down -- big time. I don't have enough faith in or knowledge of technical analysis to believe this kind of thing will be either orderly or manageable, and I'm looking forward to a good night's sleep.
