Big move in the $USD today, and it looks like it wants to go higher for a while. Markets probably correct until the dollar runs out of gas.

Last year the dollar had a 3 week run starting Dec 1 - initiating a 10-11% 3 week correction in gold & the big cap gold stocks (GDX). The juniors (GDXJ) fared better - 6% loss. The Venture exchange only corrected 4% and only for a week.

As the old saying goes, history never repeats, but it rhymes. I suspect something similar will occur this year. Raised some cash today, and will sell more tomorrow if it's a good day, but I'm keeping the bulk of my Venture stocks for my hoped for year-end rally.
