Yeah, HGU is the leveraged play. All these leveraged plays should be avoided - this one in particular. Reason is, they deteriorate with volitility - and gold stocks are notorious for volitility. I've played with them in the past - before I understood their true nature. Now, I only use them for day trading (which I rarely do).
