Gotta admit - I've never been a fan of the nuclear industry. You're dealing with extremely dangerous materials - no amount of "safeguards" can be 100% foolproof. And the consequences of an accident are just too severe.

Frankly, I have trouble understanding why there even is a nuclear industry. The capital cost of building a reactor is so high, it is completely dependent on government subsidies - no company would ever build one if they actually had to pay for it.
