Markets down 6 days in a row with almost no response from the VIX. Very, very strange. Must be frustrating for those who use the VXX to hedge their long positions.

Something is definitely amiss. Either the market is falling with no fear (ominous - what happens when fear does kick in?), or most of the big money is already in defensive positions.

Don't know which, but something has to give....
