It's just the currency conversion. The loonie is worth more, so the stock is worth less when expressed in loonies. No matter what happens, it makes no difference whether you own it as NAK or NDM, since the relative value depends on the exchange rate. The arbitrage people make sure of this by trading it to take advantage of any temporary discrepancies.
