Message: Question - anyone know the ETF that is the inverse of the long oil ETF?

Susan, there is a leveraged version on the NY exchange - SCO. But will all these leveraged ETFs you have to worry about volatility / daily rebalancing, which tend to grind down their value over time. A more reliable way to do this is to short the long ETF - UCO. Better yet, sell a call on UCO and collect a premium - even if oil does nothing you make money. For example, selling a slightly out of the money 34 call expiring Oct 21 nets you $3.40.

I've made a lot of money doing this sort of thing this year - enough to cover my losses on stocks, lol.
