I asked myself that same question back in the days after the crash and Great Recession. I think we can safely say the results are in. China put together a massive stimulus package - they pulled the world out of recession once, I'm sure they can do it again if need be.

So I actually do think the emerging economies can compensate for G7 weakness. Currently, we are not even in recession, just slow growth. Also, the world now has 7 billion people to feed, house, and put into shiny new cars.

Regarding the juniors, most of them are bad investments over the long term. A few will be fantastic, but I don't know how to pick 'em. So I just try to own juniors when the market is strong and sell when the party ends.
