Pretty tough to catch the precise low during these tax loss days - you never know when the last seller is done. I used to wait until a day or 2 before Christmas to buy these things, but it seems like the tax loss selling finishes earlier every year. It's possible this year could be an exception, or there is more than just tax loss selling going on.

Regardless, I still expect at least a 2 week pop in the Venture after Christmas. The only time since 1998 that the Santa trade did not work for me was 2007-2008. Should that happen again, I will take it as a warning.
