George - I kinda went crazy on the tax loss stuff this year - but crazy is my style, lol. I'm a lousy stock picker, so I just grab my metaphorical shotgun and blast away. I have over 300 Venture & TSX stocks - there were just so many to chose from, I bought everything I could. Most of them are up, but not yet at my sell targets. Just about my entire portfolio consists of tax loss candidates, although some of them were left over from earlier purchases.

As expected, the sum total has performed better than the Venture and the market as a whole so far. My portfolio is up 8.08% since Dec 23, and 9.64% since Dec 15 (when I started buying the tax loss stocks).

I'm hoping this run lasts another week or 2 so I can get a lot of it sold. The fear trade is usually on holiday this time of year, but when it returns, I could take a bath holding too much of this stuff, lol.
