* Yamana Gold YRI.TO: The company said it expects production to rise 13 percent in 2012, mainly due to the ramp-up of production at its newest mine in Mexico.
* Viterra VT.TO: The grain handler will report solid fourth-quarter results next week and has no plans to reduce its workforce, unlike two of its big U.S. rivals, CEO Mayo Schmidt said.
