Markets had a severe correction last year, but couldn't crash despite the incredible nonsense with the US debt ceiling & all the PIIGS stuff. Markets are gradually getting used to stupidity out of Europe and expect stupidity in Washington - especially during an election year.
Since nothing's been resolved, we'll have some bad days for sure, but barring WWIII, no crash, no way. The old rule still applies - never fight the Fed (or the ECB).
That's my story & I'm sticking to it, lol!
