so true...I'm not heavy in gold stocks...yet...I owe that to listening to all the negative views on gold as well as the positive. I do think when gold starts to move they [the gold stocks, certain ones to start]will accelerate quite rapidly but at this point I'm not sure if I'm a toatl believer they've put in the low....if gold does go to 14oo area then obv. they may suffer along with it so willing to wait and see for now. Hoping silver hits that 20 area?????....then into silver stocks. I currently don't own any so may be a good opp. Now base metals i'm down but taking the looong view and may acc. more but again don;t think the lows ae in yet.....but who knows. If we do get a rally this fall , with the carnage that's taken place I'm kinda doubtfull on the strength of it....maybe this ongoing negativity is making pessimists out of most of us....and that may not be a bad thing as it tends to keep you consrevative. Better to come out the otherside relatively healthy then never be able to play the game again...
