My game plan is always buy garbage in Dec, try to sell it early in the new year. Usually works, but got burned last year when the liquidity in a lot of my garbage stocks suddenly dried up. A lot of stuff went no bid or stink bid - a condition that still persists.

I was able to sell Upper Canyon Minerals (UCM.H Venture) this morning. It popped from .015 to .10 in an hour or so. Almost all the buying was from TD, so I suspect this was some poor sucker who had his account hacked. If I'm right, someone will discover his blue chips have been sold in exchange for 800,000 share of garbage.....
