Yeah, the resource stocks have been a total disaster. Venture is starting yet another leg down. It's especially frustrating when most other markets are rallying.

BTW, barring a major comeback today, gold stocks have failed the test of the March low - quite possibly headed for a panic selloff. Yesterday, I shorted GDX when it started to crack, in order to hedge the GDX puts I sold earlier - capital preservation is paramount in this business.

Normally, when US markets are correcting, gold stocks tend to do poorly. But due to the dramatic underperformance of late, I think it's at least possible for gold stocks to buck the US markets. If we do have a panic selloff in gold stocks, I'll be in with both feet - at least for the first move...
