I hate to jinx it, but things are looking pretty good in the PM space right now. Since mid-December, small cap gold stocks have outperformed large caps, and both have outperformed the metal. As well, volume is increasing in many of the stocks as they rise - all bullish developments. Venture closed above its 200 day MA on very strong volume today. I also like the fact that the 20, 50, & 200 day MAs appear to be converging. This is often a prelude to a substantial move. Starting to uncross my fingers, lol!

Still, there is one fly in the ointment. Silver usually outperforms gold when the PMs get going. So far it hasn't, but perhaps it's just a matter of time - definitely worth watching. Also getting a bit short-term overbought on PMs & juniors - we should get a pull tomorrow or Thursday. After that, if all goes well, it's off to the races until the spring.
