KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 26, 2008) - FISSION ENERGY CORP. ("Fission" or "the Company") (TSX VENTURE:FIS) announces that David Miller has stepped down from Fission's Board of Directors to focus on his role as CEO of Strathmore Minerals.
Mr. Miller commented, "Now that Fission has been successfully spun-out of Strathmore, and its Canadian exploration projects are moving forward under the capable direction of two very experienced geologists, Ross McElroy and Jody Dahrouge, our succession plan is nearly complete.
