If you guys were on the first NASA team to get a man on the moon a staff meeting would go like this.

Me: If the rocket stalls a thord of the way up what do we do?

You guys: The rocket parts are so fundamentally sound that it won't stall.

Me: If the oxygen systems greak down half way through what do we do?

You guys: That won't happen because the oxygen systems have never failed.

Me: If we get those men up there and we can't get them back what do we do? That simply won't happen because the man who designed the rockets is such a god like genius that this is not going to happen.

Then we fast forward 40 years and we are talking as retired astronauts.

Me: What do you suppose happened to that space shuttle that blew up.

You guys: It's the shorts that did it but they are conered and we are going to blow them up. As soon as the shorts blow up the space shuttle will miraculously come back.
