Message: TRX Borrow Rate 40%!!!!

http://tanzanianroyalty.blogspot.com/2011/07/brokers-how-much-to-borrow-trx-shares.html

Friday, July 1, 2011BROKERS, HOW MUCH TO BORROW TRX SHARES TODAY???

TRX share loan demand is extremely high today.

To those looking to borrow TRX shares, today’s rate is 39.08%.
Sorry TRX shareholders, this rate is not what you would receive for lending out your shares, but what your broker takes in when they loan your shares out.

UNDERSTAND, your broker is in the business of loaning out your shares. Nothing personal TRX shareholders. They are just responding to the market place, just like anyone else would. After all, they are in the business of making money. And loaning shares is a very large profit center for their income statements.
If your broker has a lending agreement in place for your shares, they will pay you anywhere from 1 to 5 per cent. It depends on your broker and what they believe it will take to separate you from your shares. Nice spread when they are receiving 39.08%. These are the legitimate brokers.

Other brokers, illegitimate brokers, will loan your shares and pay you ZERO, NADA, NOTHING. Why should they. You would never know your shares are even borrowed.
However, even the legitimate brokers may not be as legitimate as you think they may be when it comes to making money. They do this as well.

The only way you can absolutely insure that your shares are not loaned out against will is to have your shares registered with the transfer agent or take delivery of your shares.
When a broker can make almost 40 per cent by doing nothing, the temptation is overwhelming. Even if they lend your shares out without your permission, they have no fear of ever being caught.
There are TRX shareholders that have purchased TRX during the month of June 2011 that have yet to receive their shares. Normally shares purchased must be delivered within 3 business days. The undelivered shares in question are way past the required delivery date. One would expect that these undelivered shares would be reflected on the publicly reported Failure to Deliver reports. THEY ARE NOT! Market makers who sell shares legally or naked for market making purposes, DO NOT have to report this to the public.

As of today, there are almost 11 million TRX shares that have been borrowed.
If you are holding your TRX shares for investment purposes, please consider calling your broker and having your shares registered immediately. You will be rewarded for your efforts. And remember, DON’T TRADE & DON’T SELL YOUR SHARES YOU WILL MISS THE RHINO HORN!!!
