THERMAL ENERGY LAUNCHES NEW LINE OF “QUICK FIT” GEM® TRAPS
Permanent replacement steam traps bolt onto existing fittings for further savings

OTTAWA, Canada - September 22, 2008 - Thermal Energy International Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of a new “Quick fit” line of Emerald traps for its GEM® Condensate Return System.

“The Emerald GEM® Trap is compatible with other manufacturers’ fittings, thereby avoiding fitting costs as GEM Traps may easily be bolted on to existing connectors,” said Tim Gardner, Managing Director of GEM, a division of Thermal Energy. “Fitting costs can often eclipse the costs of steam traps themselves, especially in hazardous or explosive areas.”

The new “Quick fit” traps as well as the entire series of GEM® traps in the GEM® Condensate return System are being showcased at a number of industry trade shows including:
