Rise in price and volume may be due to news from neighbor VMS Ventures

In doing further research tonight into the possible reason for the large volumes being traded this week and the rise in price of Troymet on Monday, I came across something of interest regarding Troymet's neighbor in Manitoba, next to their McClarty Lake project. VMS Ventures (VMS.V) is next door and released news this past Wednesday, August 12th, of the results of some electro-magnetic survey work that has been done on their neighboring property.
Of particular interest to me was the following quote:
Dr. George Gale, VP Exploration states: "The findings of the DEEPEM geophysical survey appear to support our exploration model for the property, that the Discovery Zone is remobilized and transported mineralization from a nearby, possibly much larger, source deposit. This new much larger feature may well represent the missing source deposit. If the anomaly does represent mineralization similar to the Discovery Zone, then the overall size potential at, and around Reed Lake, is considerable given that the anomaly associated with the Discovery Zone is approximately 200 metres in length and this new anomaly appears to be over 2,000 metres long."
On the home page of VMS Ventures is a map showing the location of their Reed Lake project. You will see that this is right next to McClarty Lake. It is possible that info about VMS Ventures' Wednesday's press release may have been leaked a couple of days earlier, and this caused the large-volume purchases of Troymet.
Troymet's joint-venture partner at McClarty Lake is Hudson Bay Exploration and Development (HBED), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of HudBay Minerals (HBM.TO). HudBay owns lots of claims in the McClarty Lake area, as can be seen on the map on VMS Ventures' home page. Maybe VMS approached HudBay about doing a JV with them on their adjacent property and told them about the DEEPEM survey, and then HudBay leaked the news to their sub, HBED, who told their JV partner, Troymet, and others prior to the press release by VMS on Wednesday.
Note that when Troymet put out their August 10th press release saying that they were unaware of any material change that was causing the price and volume increase, they also mentioned in that same release that they anticipated that their JV partner, HBED, was going to do drilling on the McClarty Lake property after freeze-up.
This convoluted conjecture concerning Troymet's abrupt price rise on Monday and heavier than normal trading volume for most of the week is what some might call "a stretch" and "pretty thin", but it is the best I could come up with at this point.
