Hello Folks;
I first would like to say that I think this form is like “a breath of fresh” air as compared to the old one.
I have some questions about Nicholas Lake for which I would be grateful for any feedback.
The Tyhee web site seems to show Nicholas lake only a few km north, north/east of Discovery. http://www.tyhee.com/images/discovery/Sat1.gif
However, A Guide to Mineral Deposits Northwest Territories (
http://www.iti.gov.nt.ca/library/pdf/mog/108347%20Guide%20to%20Minerals.pdf) (as posted on this site) indicates that the coordinates for Nicholas lake are
63.2494°N 114.7694°W ...according to Google Maps, this location is over 35km west of Discovery.Both of these sources seem creditable; can anyone explain the discrepancy?My line of thought boils down to this: exactly where is Nicholas Lake? and does Tyhee management believe that Nicholas Lake close enough to Ormsby to allow Nicholas ore to feed the proposed Ormsby mill?
I would think this question is central to the economics of the Nicholas deposit.
Thanks in advance for any feedback,Fever
