I find my biggest enemy is not the results, or lack of them. It's not the compan(ies). It's myself. My own lack of patience.
My two regrets of the past year: NOT and KTN. I looked them both over and passed them up last December. Kootenay Gold because I felt they were way overpriced for a few rich grab samples, and Noront because they seemed to have nothing but a great pipe dream. Bottom line is you have to have the patience, and you just never know who is going to find what.
What I did a month ago when I was frustrated is this: I put my stocks on stop losses and didn't bother to follow their daily prices for a week. I've found it's unhealthy with the current volatility to watch daily results closely. Better to focus on the big picture.
I have to thank Baires for introducing me to the Financial Sense website. Right or wrong, they are always going for the big picture and the long term outlook.
