Hi all,
I found it very interesting (and somewhat reassuring) that during the FSN interview, Barbera talked very little about technical analysis. In fact, if I am not mistaken, he said that fundamentals "trumped" technical analysis right now.
This is what I was pointing out in a previous post: if we are in uncharted territory, there isn't any chart from the past to correspond to what we are seeing or what we might see in the future. This does not mean that technical analysis is useless, or that Frank Barbera is somehow crooked, etc.
What it means is that fundamentals, market psychology, erratic government intervention, and maalox have as much or more to do with the markets right now as technical indicators do.
I feel increasingly comfortable (well at least for the last half hour :)) with JP's approach: find the long-term trend, try to get in on pullbacks, and sit tight.
I can't help but believe that within this view, Tyhee will be considerably higher in 6 months.
Enjoy your weekend!

P.S. I must also add my applause to the way this board works; even when there are misunderstandings, people here are big enough to apologize, accept apologies, etc. This is truly heartening. Thank you all. If we eventually make big money in this stock, its value will be enhanced because we made it together!
