Skeleg,

You asked for it; here it is...

First, I feel bad for many who might have jumped into Bear on Friday; it's as if someone jumped on the steamroller in your picture and ran them over! It's crazy!

Second, I think the fact that this was done on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. is very significant. The powers that be are sending a message: we will do anything to keep things afloat. They are hoping that this message will sink in by 9:30 a.m., and if it does not, they will do more (don't forget about Tuesday).

Third, I understand the advice of people like Barbera to cash out and wait on the sidelines, but, at the same time, something in my gut tells me: "hold on, you are in the right sector with the right type of stock; "winning" in this market will not be riding every up and down for absolute maximum profits, it will be simply being strapped in the rocket when it takes off. In this view, I do not think I would be more comfortable on the sidelines.

Fourth, at this point, I wish I had bullion instead of juniors, but that may change in a week or so. I think the jist of what I am saying is "uncharted, uncharted, uncharted!" No one knows exactly what is going to happen and how, but, I feel that we do know on a mid-term basis that gold exploration companies with proven reserves are going to be in high demand in the near future. Will this give us a bigger return than just bullion? I hope so.

Sorry for being so long-winded, but this is freaking me out a bit!

Take care,

stone
