I don't know, but I bought more Yamana this morning. I'll take as much Yamana as I can get.

As I see it, order is returning to our world. Commodities are going up again and bank stocks are going down. As much as I generally subscribe to a lot of the manipulation theories, I don't think that's at play here. I think it's just stupid investors. 

Flipping channels last night I paused upon Larry "everything's either black or white" Kudlow. He was emphatic that the US markets had put in a bottom--particularly financials.

Jim Cramer, bless the man's "your money is safe in Bear" also believes that a bottom is in and so do so many others.

Possibly at work today, just a thought, is margin covering by those who have just been told that their margins were reduced by Canadian investment banks. This on a day when banks are down. You gotta think there's a few folks out there who listen to Larry and Cramer and thought they'd go bottom fishing for US Financials, only to see their margins called unnexpectedly.  So what do they do? They sell their gold stocks to help cover the loss? Maybe.
