Perhaps that's the problem with TDC, that they are seen as a potential producer rather than exploration. I for one, will be long gone from this play the day they switch from an exploration co to a producer. Building a mine, permitting and all the red tape and crap that goes along with that, including raising the millions and millions of dollars to build a mine are killers. Not to my liking.
I would prefer to see them buy some new property in either one of the territories or northern BC but away from the YK camps. Get something exciting going somewhere else which is unnexplored and has complete blue sky potential.
For some reason, this board continues to think we have 2 million ounces proven. We don't. Let's be honest with ourselves. And, like to hear it or not, excitment has wained, not just along with the sector but beyond it in some ways. As drilling has progressed we've seen a slow steady increase in the resource, however, it's becoming more and more obvious that there is not as much blue sky potential for a big hole and the market plays and likes these juniors for that potential.
A property away from the YK play would give that excitement while they continue to add ounces to the YK area. Eventually the YK ounces will top 2 million and then all will be good.
