1. 8barker6 confirmed the problematic appearance of a "Strong Sell" on RBC, and posted:
I think I found what you are referring to. RBC has an "analyst consensus" rating..and yes it does show a strong sell. Is anyone aware of TDC having any analysts? For larger companies(at least bigger than Tyhee) there are analysts assigned to companies...i have yet to hear of TDC having any such analysts at the brokerage firms.
If anything that Dundee report is one of the only ones out there. I don't think Tyhee was rated as a sell on that report??
2. Dr. Webb's first reply to my email was not a satisfactory resolution, as he simply reporeted that RBC says they have no rating on TDC. Later, he forwarded my email to a representative at RBC, who then wrote to me. I replied with a link and a walk through to show him the problem, and I think he'll see it and resolve it tomorrow. I will post the resolution to this problem ASAP.
3. I think that this first appeared no 20 May, but may have been there longer. I wonder if any of the 560,000 shares traded on 20 May were dumped because of the appearance of a "strong sell", and if so, can RBC do anything about it? For example, if anybody sold based on this, maybe they could have the transaction reveresed once they learn that there is no such rating, and it was a web-layout error that RBC (will be) truly sorry about.....
