Message: Re: In the 1930's, Many Gold Juniors Did Great! But How Many Failed?

Here's a bit of wisdom:

As a professional book buyer, I come across great books all the time. I can't remember the exact title of the book, but it was something like The Handbook of Failed Securities. This was a huge book at least 3 inches thick full of stock symbols that failed, with a brief description of what they did. My brother, who is also a PM bull, pointed out to me, "Wait a second, almost all of these failed securities are MINING STOCKS!"

That was a depressing thought, considering how much of our wealth is tied up in this very sector. HOWEVER, what it teaches you and me is the importance and value of DUE DILLIGENCE.

I will never forget his comment about mining stocks, and smile everytime I think about it, or whenever I hear JP say "Moose pasture."
