"Why do so many of you put so much faith in FB?"

He's about the best technical analyst I've ever come across. Now, as you've heard many times, TA is like a weather bell, not a crystal ball. It can't be right all the time, but used as a tool in your investing, you will come out ahead more often than without it.

FB put a chart up in his most recent column on FSN that clearly shows how much better you would do investing on the DOW if you invested in and out on TA signals or just buy and hold. The TA guided buying and selling is clearly a much better way to go.

Of course, FB has had some wrong calls. So did Einstein. But over-all he's been pretty accurate.

Monday he jumped out of Gold producers. Looks like a bad idea today but he's looking at wealth preservation during this time, holding back cash to scoop up opportunities that will present themselves more clearly later on. That's a strategy that may not appeal to us all but it's one that absolutely works over time.
