Great posts today everyone. This board has been a great site for discussion on so much.
A friend of mine called me tonight and asked why he can't find silver anywhere! His father owns a coin shop in Port Charlotte Florida and he told him he can't find silver and his connections say no one will sell for under $20/ounce! My friend asked me where he could buy some. I told him e-bay because I see it being sold there for about $17/ounce. In Detroit I finally found one shop with about 50 ounces left. He will sell for $3.75 over spot...well, before today. He told me he is there is little available anywhere.
I think things are going to change soon. I am still baffled why some wealthier people don't buy on the COMEX for $10 to $12 per ounce and take delivery. They don't because they will get a "phone call"?? Who cares. I am thinking to tell the person on the other end of the phone to F*ck off! Sorry. But seriously, why does it matter if you "get a phone call"? This is an easy money situation. My 18 year old daughter suggested I buy at coin shops for $14 to $15 and she will sell it on ebay for $17+...or maybe to shops in Florida for $20 and well split the profit. Smart daughter of mine.
Papluva mentioned this "getting a phone call thing" last week. Again, who cares? What am I missing. I am about to start a side partnership with my daughter. Each buck earned gets me 8 more shares of Tyhee!
I am going to go kick my soccer ball now. Paulsen's face is painted on it. Der Fuhrer

Got Tyhee?
