Yes, the Canadian markets are closed; it's thanksgiving, a day when we remember to be thankful for the truly important things in life and stop whining about the markets (well, at least I am going to try).

By the way, I believe you are over in Britain...my backup plan in case of a completely trashed portfolio is to go to your wonderful country and try to get a role on Coronation Street.

I could be the disgruntled former stockholder from Canada who comes to Coronation street to open a Maple Syrup shop, ideally right next to the Rover's Return Pub. :)

Do you guys really drink as much as the people in that show?
