has anybody considered the lowered demand for jewelry this holiday season when analyzing the price of gold.
seems to me there's a bit of a disconnect here : everybody is talking about how we're in a seasonally bullish period, but this assumes 1) people have money to go shopping 2) gold is reasonably priced for other currencies, which are all collapsing against the dollar, which is what gold is priced in.
