According to the following article (http://meltdown2011.wordpress.com/20... the default, IF IT COMES, would happen between today and the end of December. Today is simply the first day to take delivery.

If it happened and gold skyrocketed, it would be great, but I am not holding my breath. The big boys have so many rabbits in their hats that I am ready for anything...

Still, a lot of well-informed people have been saying that there could be trouble on the COMEX.
