Kiyakker, you seem to be on the money. I believe that when I am an old man, tyhee may have morphed into something with more than just the YGP, but in the YGP we will have undearthed over 10 MOZ. This in a world where gold's role as money will have been demonstrated convincingly in the economic crash of 2008, and the 2008 - 2010 recession. Back when you could buy a house in Vancouver for a mere 1 million dollars, and a new car for just $ 20,000.
I bet a lot of us plan to take about a third off the table at some point in the run-up. I've been holding steady in the 300K to 350K range, and can't buy many more until about May. I'll be buyin in small lots whenever I have a spare $1,000 or more at a time, buying all the way up until we shoot through the 100 million dollar market cap at what, 60 cents?
After that, things will accelerate and in a matter of months after we pass $1.00, we'll be into the low dollar multipes, onto TSZ, then on with financing and building a mine.
Here's to one day meeting some of you TDC long / believers. We own our pieces of what IS a producing gold mine, just we're in the pre-production stage for a while longer...
There are a few things I am watching for from Tyhee in the next 8 weeks: First, I think their decision to do some drilling this winter won't be made until mid Jan. There are a few good arguments for preserving cash, however, as soon as Dave Webb sees that the share price/interst in gold juniors is picking up, I think he'll want to get some holes drilled. He has shown an eye for prudence and finding gold at low costs. SO while other juniors are forced to shut down just to survive, Dave may put a 500K or a million into a winter drilling program while drill rigs are idle. maybe he can get a better price due to lack of work for the rig crews? Maybe the low fuel prices, while not a big factor in drilling, may also help. Getting holes drilled is essential, keeping exploring, so that the summer of 09 there are more results to release. WHen other juniors have to raise capitol coming out of the dec 08 lows, they'll have no NEW news to generate awareness or excitement. Tyhee, in my view, will have news releases based on having continued to explore during the winter, haveing more excellent Clan Lake results (soon to come out, I think Jan / Feb), and progress on the permitting. Keeping some people active at the site throughout this period is essential, to be a going concnern.
THis crash has been a real opportunity for me, to increase my stake in TDC and get my average cost/share down to the low '20s. It's also a great opportunity for TYHEE to get some more drills drilled at a very low cost, perhaps to attract some more talent for next summer, and to show that they are run by some very prudent people, gaining confidence in Thyee by virtue of how well they stood up to this hard period for the gold juniors.
Lots of reasons to be excited and optimistic about our investment.
