I'm sure I was one of those "pumps" of Big Sky. A year later I am weighing every decision in my portfolio a lot differently. The dilemma is that there are so many very real prospects at 500 baggers out there, and I am already overexposed to juniors. Large caps are on fire sale. Companies that are still generating profits, and are oversold on the sheer market negativity.

But when we are reduced to reality, and to this uncertainty of not knowing what will happen with Tyhee and other juniors, life sucks.

I threw my bonds that I was saving for a house downpayment into large caps at the low point of the gold market last month. This is the one time when I may very well have nailed my market timing. If there's a good rally in January, I'll pull my initial capital out and invest it on down payments on properties (not homes), locked in long term, low interest rates.

If inflation hits and interest rates go throught the roof, I'll be okay. If it doesn't, I can borrow to build in a few years.
