Thanks for these last few posts.
It's a lot to digest.
I take it that you agree that whatever happens at the Jan 20 meeting
of the BIS in Basel, may be very important but not transparent?
You and I have busted each others spheres a few times, but do we
agree that something may be unraveling here?
Seems convergence of opinion that people like Mark Faber, Peter Schiff, Jim Rogers and Ron Paul, all of whom seem to have good track records and credibility. If their views are on the mark, then shorting of the US long term bonds, abandoning the US dollar, and being long on energy and commodities will be the smart bet. And gold will benefit.
Yes, it will be tough on juniors for a while yet, but this may separate the wheat from the chaff. Future mine supply is being constrained due to shutdown of exploration funds. Mergers and acquisitions will further reduce the playing field. Tyhee may come out of this as a jewel, still independant, and still able to operate (explore and work throuigh the EA).
Of course, Player has much more cautious expectations than I do, but things do seem to look good for gold and berry berry bad for the US Dollar.
Keeping away from conspiracy theories and from (my) overly optimist expectations of Tyhee's future share price ($10.00+), I hope that Tyhee investors stay with this story and succeed, as we see gold price surge and junior valuations improve drastically over the next year or two. Just in time for tyhee to get permits, financing, and get that 3,000 tonne per day mill up and running when gold is $1500 / oz and the only bull market of the day.
So now, I'll take a break from posting, digest what Player has put out there, and watch the scheduled israeli pull-out of Gaza, the Obama inauguration festival / love-in, and then the new (golden) dawn of post-american-hegemony, the ascendency of the R.O.T.W. (rest of the world), or will it be of Euro-Pacific-Asia? Or China? Maybe it will be as simple as CANADA-EH!
Who knows, but what a time to be a speculator in Canadian juniors!
Final comment: I feel like firing off my guns, like that Yosemitie Sam, "darndest rootin-tootin" risk-taking investor out there!
