Thanks C, Hoye has made the same observation that gold stocks will tend to follow the market but that gold stock would do better on the upswings and I guess not fall as much. The only difference I guess is timing, Hoye seems to think thre is a general rally on the cards out to April, it sounds like Frank B is more bearish short term.

I'll need to digest over the weekend but Bob is observing credit spreads falling at the moment which is bullish and that money isnt flowing into bonds like Q4 when the market falls which I guess is bullish as well. We seem to be at an interesting juncture.
