As I promised after my interview with Dave Webb, I would look into the possibility of a permanent road that helps Tyhee.
Here it is:

This 15 Dec package by the NWT Chamber of Commerce aims at showing what infrastructure spending in the NWT should be included in the stimulus package. It seems to me to be part of the highlighting "shovel-ready" infrastructure projects which would stimulate the economy in the short term, as well as enhance economic and social development in the long term.
The idea that we want to see progressed is re-orienting the souther portion of the ice road that serves the diamond mines several hundred KMs north of YK, from the current ice road route that is quite east of YGP. This main route has problems in the southern 100 km when winter temps are not cold enough to freeze thick enough for the ice road. A re-alignment of the southern portions would enhance the operatiosn of the massive diamond mines which are the lifeblood of NWT. To avoid areas of permafrost, which are expensive and difficult to buid on, the preferred route basicall favors Tyhee in a huge way.
The proposed permanent route goes through big sky, Blue fish hydro, passes near Clan and Goodwin lake, the Discovery site, and beyond (not far from Nick Lake).
This is not science fiction, but actually a good investment in infrastruture favoring lots of mining interests, exploration, and development (tyhee).
WOW! This could get some traction in the stimuls package, and have very fortunate results for Tyhee investors.
Even Player 13 would say that this, if substantiated, is material.
So if anybody has a chance to support this idea, in the infrastructure spending plans now being drafted, it would be good for Canada, NWT, Yellowkinfe and coincendtally for Tyhee.
WIn WIn WIn.
I'll look for more evidence that this serendipitous project could come to life in the here and now.
By the way, it costs $500,000 per KM. The 400 million cost for 80 km is not a lot of money, considering it costs $10 million per year to set up and operate the ice road for the diamond mines, and this alternate route would save them at least $3,300,000 per year in ice road costs alone.
Just one more reason to invest in Tyhee? Would the econmics of the mine change were such a raod to build? YES>
WOuld the options available to Tyhee improve? YES.
Would it save in exporation costs? OHMIGODYES.
It would also generate more interest in the areas around the YGP>
SO i think that those with an eye on the prize should read the attached link...
