Great thoughts both Stone and Silverharp. My perspective is to simply own a bit of everything:

Silver Bullion/bars/coins

Gold Bullion/bars/coins

Tyhee/Kimber/Others

Mids/MFN/MGN/etc

Then AEG/SSRI/Royal Gold/NEM, etc etc

Then as they say, you are good as Gold!
