Nothing to do with Tyhee? Well, maybe or maybe not?

Isn't international tension between Canada and Russia increasing in the Arctic? How far away from Yellowknife are all those estimated 50 or so billion barrels of petroleum? Is there any cause to worry about whether the NWT could be threaten if there's a problem with Russia?
