I recall that Rogers underlined his no-mines-will-be-built contention with the 'expletive' that, "banks [in the upcoming deflationary environment] won't be lending the sort of big money necessary for mine development.

You may remember that, one of the 3 big Yellowknife mines (I think it was the Giant Mine), got financed during the depression by a big company (I think it was Caminco), not a bank.

Anyways, I sent a Q-call to JP this morning to ask if he agrees with Rogers, and if he does, whether that's why he thinks most all junior will be acquired in the next two years.
