That's right. The geological nature of Archean deposits (Tyhee's) is such that you'd expect to find more gold below what's already been discovered closer to the surface. This was seen at increasing depths at the Con, Giant and Discovery mines.
Webb has often pointed out that, although it's important to spend money for new discoveries in yet unexplored areas of its vast properties, even if those activities ceased altogether, and Tyhee just only began mining, there would be excellent potential for encountering more gold as the mine progressed downward.
Such was the case at the Giant Mine that, as I recall, never had more than an initial resource of 200,000 ounces when they began mining it.
But eventually, the Giant Mine produced about 8 million ounces.
