I would expect that there will be a news release about the closing of the private placement. With gold at $926 or so, I am optimistic that it will be fully subscribed. It seems to be an important milestone to get behind us. To see considerable confidence represented by the anticipated new investment may be part of a larger drive by strong hands to see Tyhee through to production. I dont' think that DW would have gone after such a large private placement if he did not already have indications that it woudl be succusful.
The recognition in the media that these 'green shoots' are actually a case where seeds were sewn and encouraged to germinate TOO SOON and are only going to be killed off by the next frost, with the accompanying devastation in market sentimatent, should prove that this was a bear market rally and we have a long way to go through this U-shaped long-haul recession. This U-Haul recession will lead to even more deficit spending / money printing and weakenss in US dollar.
The most dissapointing news today was when Nadler was interviewed on the Canadian BNN (www.bnn.ca) and was very negative on gold, but said that he expects it to stay in the $850 to $960 range. I think this is higher than he had been saying before, and certainly strong engough for Tyhee to be viable.
So the next two perks for Tyhee investors should be:
1. Close a successful private placment; and
2. Announce mobilization of drills and exploration program for this summer, with an update on DAR / PF work progressing.
Then settle in for a couple of months waiting for drill results and revision to resource, then DAR submission in the fall. Logn summer, best spent enjoying the summer, perhaps going camping and enjoying life.
