Thanks for this clear, sensible post. But, did I miss your thinking on what difference does it make for the "Real" price of gold if there's deflation of inflation?

Doesn't it seem to you that, relative to other commodities, the gold price will, regardless of its nominal price, greatly boost the gold mining sector?
